always with you

A basic component of our retreats is us.

A member of the Fykiada team is always along for the journey, living with the group, experiencing the magic, and supporting everyone’s needs.

insider secrets

Everyone knows its better to follow a local when visiting a new place.

We have lived on the islands all our lives, grown up on the small meandering streets, fallen in teen love on the sand, and discovered all the secret nooks and crannies of the island.

We know where to take you, where the best sunset spot is, where to find the best gelato, and which rock to jump in the sea from.

And we are always there with you to let you in on all our secrets!

who is Fykiada

Anna left England 10 years ago with a yearning for sun, sea and freedom.

She wanted to share the Greek summer she knew and the island life that ran through her veins even on the rainiest UK evening. Fykiada was born on her family home in Kythnos island, her mom cooking the meals and friends helping with everything.

A few years later, more locations were added, more teachers were invited to share, more humans joined us and experienced Anna’s dream with her.

At Fykiada’s 10th year, she is going through a transformation, simplifying, doing only what feels right and living for joy and pleasure.

Margarita came along for the journey right after covid, at the time the world was slowly coming back to normal.

She is the one to support you before and at the time of your journey, helping with anything and everything.

She will be there to greet you as you step foot on the island and will stay by the groups side along the retreat days.

You are welcome to unwind, unravel, unhinge, and be yourself in all its glory: our team has got you.

why we do what we do

Our retreats go beyond beautiful views to connect you with the true local island living.

Having spent most of our summers in Cyclades islands our retreats draw upon our childhood memories.

The absolute freedom of that first dive, the sweetness of a salty watermelon, the failed handstands in the sand, and the joy of having nothing to worry about other than you forgot your sunglasses.

Tracing back to those feelings we want to revive our island memories and share them with anyone who seeks the same simplicity in things.

Love & salt
